In Hertsberge, we designed a residential project consisting of 59 houses, based on a deliberate interplay of typologies: detached homes, semi-detached dwellings, and enclosed housing volumes. This variation creates a dynamic streetscape and a diverse living experience, without compromising the coherence of the whole.

Spatial quality arises from the interwoven parks and green corridors, which serve as breathing spaces and connecting elements. Sightlines between the houses are carefully considered, ensuring a balance between privacy and openness. The composition of the masterplan reinforces its legibility and establishes a calm, cohesive residential environment.

The project’s sense of unity brings tranquillity to the heart of the village, despite its scale. Through thoughtful attention to proportion, rhythm, and materiality, its impact on the surroundings remains minimal — the development enhances the village rather than disrupting it.

The project is monitored through regular on-site visits on a weekly basis. This continuity of supervision reflects the pleasant and constructive collaboration between developer and architect, where quality and vision go hand in hand.
